For tetras, NorthFin offers high-quality food options that support their small size, schooling behavior, and need for a well-balanced, nutrient-rich diet. The best everyday food is the NorthFin Community Formula in 0.5mm pellets, which are perfectly sized for small-mouthed fish like neon, cardinal, and ember tetras. This formula contains whole krill, herring meal, spirulina, and kelp—providing a balanced mix of protein, color-enhancing nutrients, and plant matter to support energy, immune health, and vibrant coloration. To add variety and extra fiber, NorthFin Veggie Formula or Kelp Wafers (crushed) can be given occasionally. For a protein boost, especially during breeding or growth stages, you can also supplement with NorthFin Carnivore Formula (crushed to an appropriate size).

A good feeding schedule for tetras would be:

• Daily: Feed a small amount of NorthFin Community Formula (0.5mm) once or twice per day—enough for them to finish in 1–2 minutes.
  
• 2 times per week: Supplement with crushed Veggie Formula or a small piece of Kelp Wafer for fiber and variety.
